    Default Vista and Mapfiend

I am also having problems downloading the map packs on my computer that uses Vista. I have all the maps on my other computer downloaded just fine for EQ. I follow the steps and put the maps into the appropriate folder (suggested in the FAQs), it overwrites the old ones. Then sometimes I get the error message show in a previous post and sometimes it finishes the job. But I still do not see the maps I wanted in game. If there is a way for the site admin to help us this issue please do.

    Default Figured it out

Found out what my problem was... My WinRAR had expired. So I downloaded WinZIP. Why can't windows just come with that? Didn't they hose me enough for the program?

    Default

Try putting the map pack on an external then taking the unzipped files from the external and put them back in the eq folder.
