For wood elf the items in question are Refractory Feir'dal Mithril and Refractory Feir'dal Mithril Thread sold on Merchant Niwiny in Greater Faydark for 525plat and change.

odd. looking at my notes that is the level 100 metal... wonder how that got there (yes I made some of the metals ahead of time a few years ago) And no. I have no idea when/if we will ever go to "100" it was just future planning.
