frustrated ever lost cleric

Ok I have done as instructed in all the faq's i can read about how to download and install the maps even emptying old folder and redowloading and maps and rerunning the complete file check and still i cannot get my maps to work. I have had 9 different friends on the phone and in game to help me and done everything they all suggested and still i cant get these dang maps to work HELP!!!!!! I have been playing 9 years and am known as the ever lost cleric because i cant get my maps to work. Alot of my maps a work fine like pok and the likes but these new ones give me nothing but a headache, even the one that you have to fade your map on gives me nothing. what the heck am i doing wrong?!:(
