The only reason I could think of would be if you were farming a mob that dropped bags (and I can't think of any dropped bag that isn't lore). Or possibly, if you were tradeskilling in your home town (not Crescent Reach) and needed a tradeskill container that you had in the bank as a token.

Personally, I'd have much rather seen something that helped address the lack of bank space.

Maybe a personal banker, make it independent of your regular bank and only accessable via this banker, using the guild bank interface.

I have had similar thoughts,

We do not have a reasonable way to persist data for it, so really nothing we can do without some major code changes anyway, that are essentially more storage space stored on the character... which would probably just go to bank space for everyone anyway.
