Oh my gosh you guys are cracking me up. We didn't do A/S/L checks on the BBS I "grew up" on because we were all in the same city or suburbs of the city and did real life meetups every two weeks, so we all knew each other after a short time. http://www.mapfiend.net/eq/images/sm...031aaa7cad.gif We did connect to...I think it was CompuServe?...on Sunday nights for a while, until it got too expensive, but I never logged in for that. I had no interest in talking to people I couldn't really meet at that time, lol.
