If it is, it will be a very low level combine (and probably, a tradeable result). Research, while available to all classes, is still considered a restricted tradeskill.

If I use it, this is likely to be true. It would be a "token" combine, and a sub-step or sub-combine, not a high skill combine, somewhere in the range of 50 to 100. Since players can get 54 for free, and 100 is easy to get, even for the non-int classes, it would not be bad.
