Question about the book listing of "Adventures of Noteworthy Difficulty."

It lists a few things that I have done, but don't actually have. An example would be the Timeshear. I finished the Timeshear second serverwide, but I don't have it on my character on Test. (It was in my house and didn't copy).

Even though I don't have the item itself, I think it should recognize that I met all the requirements to make it, and not require that I hold onto it forever and ever.

I also had the Cursed Obsieon Faycite, but deleted that years ago to make space. I have all the quests for it completed, and I -think- the game has records of all those wins, so it should recognize I don't need to do it.

Is it possible to do that? I'd rather not have to go back and redo a ton of quests. (On the plus side, I do feel slightly better that I've been justified in not deleting as much stuff as I know other people have over the years. I only did it when space was really really at a premium).

Without being able to look at the data, it might not be possible to keep track of those old tasks if you don't have the item. It depends entirely on how the task was built. Obviously if it's prior to the new task system, we can probably only track the item rewards. Even some tasks made in the new system won't be properly tracked, depending on how the task was built.

I'd have to check those items specifically, and I'll try to do that tomorrow. Though with all that's going on, I can't make any promises. I'm old and I forget things. http://www.mapfiend.net/eq/images/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif
