How about a compromise on spells, such as lowering trivials so obtaining them that way isn't quite as big a barrier?
As for auto-granting AA's, I am not surprised at the change in offical position, but thought the last we were told was it was waiting on getting past a coding barrier (rather than a 'we have changed our minds' barrier)?
You misunderstand. I'm fine with auto-granting specific AA lines/ranks and yes that's still waiting on code time. I'm not ok with just handing out 50 points to be spent however you want when you level. Hope that clears it up.
