throwing rocks? (http://www.mapfiend.net/forum/list.m?topic_id=160657) - Discussion started by Community Member hudson

I'm sure I remember years ago playing a class that was able to throw rocks. It was something like they just picked up a rock off the ground and threw it. They might have done 1 damage or none at all, but it was usefull for pulling. Now I can't remember how I did that. I tried making a range hotbutton and not equipping anything in my range slot, but that didn't work for my newbie Warrior.

Can anyone refresh my memory?

magic flag on weapons (http://www.mapfiend.net/forum/list.m?topic_id=160642) - Discussion started by Community Member Bareldi

Here's my newbie question. How can you tell which items are magic flagged? I seem to remember weapons marked "magic" way back in the beginning. But I don't see any such marking on any of the weapons I'm using or have looked up. They work, so they must be magic, but I cannot find where it is displayed or marked.

Are there merchant-purchaseable throwing items that are flagged magic? How would I know? Do I have to just buy a few of each and try them all? When did they stop marking weapons as magic?

Someone enlighten me please.

The Nostalga that never was felt again in any other MMORPG (http://www.mapfiend.net/forum/list.m?topic_id=160433) - Discussion started by Community Member larlace

Hello All I will start by saying that I have been playing MMO's since 1998.I have played every MMO on the Market: f2p, P2P, micro ones as well and to this day I have never felt what I have felt in Everquest 1. When you logged on you felt like you were geting things acomplished. The world look and feel, the endless medding, everything you felt and I felt in Everquest has not ever been reproduced still to this day in MMO's...
