One thing I can do is compromise.
I can put back the rare trade-skill drops, but leave out the common ones. This way, there is not the more constant clutter from the common drops, but there is still a chance to get the rare ones. I have to take a look at the rare tables anyway since there seems to be some issues with it currently. But then... there are also only a few voices on the forum FOR the drops. So which few voices do I listen to? There is no good way for me to poll just raiders., who are the target of this change. A "general" poll adds noise from those that have no intention of every raiding.
Defiant will stay off since there is obviously no need for them.
