We did update the voice sub-system in the 12/8 patch. Try disabling voice as suggetsed above and see if that makes a difference (voice is enabled by default).
And to answer the question about two boxing, QA doens't routinely run in that mode, but developers do all the time. And when I went to try to reproduce this issue I did try it with two (and 3) clients.
