None of the BP's are large damage instantly in one click. They all spread their damage out. We don't want ANY class getting it all in an instance. So No DD. And in no way will we make it irresistible. That said, high resist mods are in there for things that do damage via spell damage (if via melee there is AC avoidance etc the counterbalances)
The reasons for that is... if we want an NPC immune to an element, we do not want some ability to ignore it.
I am leaning to putting the mana click on there anyway as it still has situational usefulness. Maybe you just want a bit more mana for your ethereal, and are not worried about 8 more other spells... so you can click for some mana.
