First I've heard of it (there could be a bug on it I'm just not recalling atm, I'm not at work). I'll look into it.

Not first. I asked about this bug at the FanFaire during one of the dev meetings, and you personally wrote it down and promised to look into it. Yeah, yeah, I know... FanFaire promises. http://www.mapfiend.net/eq/images/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif

It's a general bug with tasks (just tasks, not expeditions): a player who is offline is considered lv 0 and factors into the 'average level requirement' thing. It's been there for a long time.

Just to avoid confusion, it's BOTH average level requirement (meaning a task can end if too many ld/log off) as well as level spread check when adding someone.

Out of curiosity does it ever say that the bug is level 0 or are we all just assuming it? I know level 0 is the most obvious guess for how the bug happens though.

Hi, I just wanted to double check for certain that the /taskadd command is still failing sometimes. I did extensive testing as well as QA and we were unable to reproduce this issue. However, I did find that this issue occurs when a player in your group is link dead and you go to an NPC and try to add the task.

This issue might have been fixed in a recent patch.

Thanks for the info.
