While this will not happen at this time, what I would like to see is the ability for an enchanter, once they acquire one of these items, be it LoN, a quest, or whatever means... they can do something... a turn in, a combine... something... that gives them the spell that does the same thing so they can use it as a spell gem instead of having to carry around the item.
There are a few items that cannot be turned into spells (the dragon illusion needs a script for example...) but most of them could be.
