The changes to Mortal Coil were made to directly stop unintended behavior. That's not limited to a single event, but to resolve an issue with several events in the world. The fact is I talked it over with the rest of the team, and we decided it was best to change the ability, rather than fix every possible location this could happen.

I'm not against tweaks and tuning to the ability going forward, but we felt this change was necessary, and moved on it sooner than later, to stop people from literally gaining 500-600 AA's per day, with ZERO risk or effort once the situation was set up.
