Well damage bonuses are definitely calculated, and not something I put directly on the item.
As it is, there is going to be a general increase in group weapon damage, and much of raid weapons in UND.
Isn't the damage bonus (the displayed value on weapons) a flat value that's appended after hit calculations are all done, much like various spires (bard 3rd for instance)?
As I understand it, that's precisely what it is. Hence, it could be used to increase overall dmg evenly, without severely impacting the "burn" time DPS spikes. But Dev-Ngreth didn't like the idea. http://www.mapfiend.net/eq/images/smilies/9d71f0541cff0a302a0309c5079e8dee.gif

I didn't?
I thought my only comment is that it is calculated, and not in data, which means I have no direct control over it. *I* cannot change it, it has to be changed in code. What I *can* do is change weapon damage.
