The only requirements change we made was to the three monster missions. If mercs aren't counting for any missions anywhere, that's not intended and isn't something we tried to "slip in."
I'll ask QA to confirm, but can those of you on Test with this problem post your character name and the full name of the quest you're trying to get so I can try it with a copy?
