Works similar way. Base Item + Group Aug + Raid Aug
the group aug and raid aug fit in different slots than before so are not backwards compatible and you cannot use the new augs in old armor.
Please clear up a question a number of us have as to compatibilty. I understand the new augs will not fit on OLD armor. But will OLD augs (bazu/last bloods ect) fit on NEW armor since they will be sharing slot 12?

Probably not. I think the point is so you can't get new armor, new symbol, and then duo an old seal to get armor that suddenly is better to end up with an item that beats most things in Underfoot.
Correct. Cannot use old symbols or seals in the new armor.
