I'm sorry, I didn't see this post when I originally created my thread http://forums.station.sony.com/eq/p...opic_id=153580. (http://forums.station.sony.com/eq/posts/list.m?topic_id=153580.) I truly apologize for double posting, and you can remove it if you'd like. (I'm relatively new to EQ forums, or at least don't spend a great deal of time here, as my post count probably indicates)

However, instead of flagging, swiss-army-knives, pan- chisel- and file- piles, or doubling the coding of the recipes to create more room...

seriously, why *can't* tradeskill trophies (or a final level thereof) be a container slot that can hold containers?

We already have containers that hold containers; we call them "top-level inventory slots" and "bank windows."

I think, far and away, this would be the simplest way to control the container and tradeskiller inventory problem; that, and stick a bag-to-token trader in the Guild Hall for people who still don't want to (like me) clutter up their new container-holding-container slots with 2, 3, or 4 item holding tradeskill containers. And, if you feel the need is there, you might have to flag the "tradeskill Mini-banks" to *ONLY* be able to be put in your bank, not your personal inventory, if you feel that's a problem. If not, I'd suggest a "0" weight reduction effect on the bag, to discourage people from lugging around their containers anyway.

Only one request, if you feel this is an acceptable idea; for organization's sake, any chance you could make the containers look like the final trophy of the tradeskill they come from? It would be so much easier to think "oh, I need to get into my baking supplies to make some Misty Thicket Picnics, but...er... which one of these bags are they in again...?"... I could click open my rolling-pin, and voila, there it is!

(just never, ever use auto-inventory... though i've already broken myself of using it.)

It is a large, intrusive (it directly affects the character files of all characters) code change. Information we have gotten from code is that changes such as this (Larger bags, bags in bags) are VERY time consuming and will take code away from other changes for "significant" amount of time. It is of course "possible" (almost anything is possible in this game) but I do not think we will spend the code resources on this.
