Hello All!
I was thinking that it had been too long since you heard from me last and decided to drop you all a line/post. Some of you probably think it hasn't been long enough (and I know who you are too http://www.mapfiend.net/eq/images/smilies/8a80c6485cd926be453217d59a84a888.gif)... I didn't have a lot to share today but definitely knew I owed you a post.
Well, the transition to the EQ team has been great. At times, I feel like my head is barely afloat but the team throws me a life preserver and saves me for another day. We're working on a lot of stuff right now and getting ready for Fan Faire in Las Vegas in 2 weeks. Yesterday, we had a Fan Faire meeting and we were discussing the current schedule, panel discussions, extra curricular activities and the number of registrations.
The counts are growing fast and it looks like it may be one of the largest Fan Faire showings in our history. There's only one bad part that I've heard so far though.... I hear there are more EQ2 registrations than EQ right now. I have a friendly wager with the EQ2 Producer that EQ will bypass EQ2 before Fan Faire ends. So if any of you may have signed up for the wrong game or maybe you haven't signed up yet, let's make sure we fix things "properly" by changing your game from EQ2 or by signing up initially. If you're sitting on the fence about coming, I can't bribe you to come but I know we've got some some exciting things to share with you at Fan Faire. Like each year, we try to hold onto the goods as long as possible in order to give the people at Fan Faire the first look and feel. ...and remember, It's Vegas!
