The poison is meant to be level 39. The lucy link shows the proc buff to be 19 damage per level (as per dev statement, take the "Hitpoints unknown calc: 2019 range: 1 -> 0" from lucy, remove the 20 and the 19 is damage per level). This means that it should be doing 19*39 = 741 damage (for this I'm ignoring spell damage mods). However, a level 80 is actually doing around 1520 damage, a level 75 was doing around 1400, etc... These values line up with the formula "player level * 19".

The upside is of course getting more "bang for the buck" from the lower level poisons. The downside being that Spider's Bit XIII and Spider's Bit XIV are functionally equivalent since the level of the poison is ignored and both are 31 damage/level. I assume the same is true for the utility poisons concerning resist rates using player level not poison level.

It may be a bug. If it is in the item, it will be corrected. If it is in the spell system, I am not sure.
